From January 24 to 30, 2020, the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport held the First International Scientific and Technical Conference "Intelligent Transport Technologies" in Truskavets together with the participants of the conference in Kharkiv on the basis of UkrDUZT.

The predecessors of the conference are the annual international scientific and technical conferences "Development of scientific and innovative activities in transport", held on the basis of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport since its inception in 1930 to 2018. The conferences were regularly attended by faculty and researchers of the departments, leading specialists and employees of railways and industry enterprises. The theme of the conference was constantly expanding, which led to a change in its format.

Implementation of the idea of ​​conducting a conference that covers a wide range of important issues, interesting scholars and industrialists in Ukraine and the world, has become possible thanks to a rich education of the university in conducting international conferences, in particular:

"Development of scientific and innovation activity in transport". International scientific and technical conference of scientists and transport specialists in Ukraine and the world, which in 2018 was already held in the 80's;

The conference was on-line, the conference participants were connected with the help of Skype communication.
Conducting a conference "Intelligent Transport Technologies" is aimed at system management of transport divisions in sections:

1.Section "Development of Intelligent Technologies in the Management of Transport Systems"
2. Section "Transport Systems and Logistics"
3. Section "Intelligent Design and Transport Service"
4. Section "Functional materials and technologies in the manufacture and recovery of transport details"

The conference was attended by 125 participants with 63 reports. The speakers were able to share their own research and achievements in the field of improving transport technologies, to hear the opinion and get acquainted with the experience of its colleagues, to discuss problematic issues regarding the further development of transport processes.
